Did you know I posted all the love scenes from The Howling Heart in my deviantART gallery? I’m a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic, so it’s only natural. Three of the scenes were not included in the free 10-chapter preview I had available for download. If you’re interested in reading more of Riley & Paige’s love story, check out 4 sensual excerpts from my unpublished second novel. They have mature content filters, so if you don’t have a dA account, or you have an account but you’re under 18 years old, you won’t be able to read them.
I’m on a poster high…more specifically a movie poster high. Hey, that’s what some writers who are graphic artists and dream of their work being adapted for film do. This latest mock movie poster is for my free unpublished short story A Dark Scandal. Once again, I had to include British model Paddy Mitchell in the cast credits because he inspired the story. He’s not an actor, but he would make his debut if my imaginary film came true. I used British model/actress Lily Cole on the poster as Sybil.

Actually, it was available yesterday. I had added buy links on the Books page from some retailers like Amazon that were selling my e-book a day early. I may update the links as I see other retailers selling it. It’s not on Barnes & Noble yet, but I’m keeping an eye out. Right Here, Right Now is my second published short story and it’s part of Decadent Publishing’s 1 Night Stand series. I’m thrilled that both of my short stories were acquired by e-publishers and I didn’t have to self-publish them—not that I would have. I’m never self-publishing again. Now, all I have left to get published is The Howling Heart.
I posted some new reviews I received for Eros, My Love and my first review for Right Here, Right Now. They’re all on the Reviews page. I want to thank Heather, MBR, and Angeline at Guilty Pleasure Book Reviews for reading my short stories and giving them good reviews.
My second short story Right Here, Right Now will be released in e-book by Decadent Publishing this Friday. It’s my first contemporary romance. In the 7 years I’ve been writing stories, I’ve never written a 100% contemporary romance. Usually I prefer to add fantasy or paranormal with my romance. I’ll be updating the Books page soon with a story excerpt and the retailer links.
Happy New Year to everyone!
I hope 2012 brings great things for me, specifically that The Howling Heart gets published. Lately, the fate of my second novel has been on my mind and I was inspired to create this mock movie poster. One of my dreams is to see one of my stories adapted for film. I know it will never happen, which is why I make stuff like this. This poster is the latest addition to my deviantART gallery. I used Alex Pettyfer (of course) as Riley, and Alexandra Daddario as Paige. I mentioned Sean Bean in the cast credits because he’s my #1 choice for Riley’s father Aidan, and he would have a major role in the imaginary movie.

I changed the ending of A Dark Scandal to give the story better closure. I think you’ll be surprised by what I wrote. Micah & Sybil don’t even make appearances. I decided to give two other characters the chance to reflect on the scandal. I hope you like it. Remember, this is a short story, not a novella or novel, so I’m not going too deep into the plot or spending a lot of time on character development. You can read the story on deviantART.
New artwork in my dA gallery
A Dark Scandal, Alex Pettyfer, Artwork, Lily Cole, Magic Mike, Micah, News, Paddy Mitchell, SybilSometimes I surprise myself. I really didn’t think I’d start writing or creating artwork for my stories again. I hadn’t created new artwork in a long time, aside from little custom things for my website. Since designing the cover for my free unpublished short story A Dark Scandal, I made character posters of Micah & Sybil using models Paddy Mitchell and Lily Cole. I also made a mock movie poster for Alex Pettyfer’s upcoming film Magic Mike. If you have a dA account, you can leave comments on my work or favorite it if you like it.
